AVENUE revisits the design house of Boudoir by sisters Vitabela Dubrovna and Precious Restless. Oh, how the world of fashion has changed for these sisters since our last cover interview in November of 2010. As stated before, few designers in Second Life® can boast designing success in both worlds. Boudoir happens to be one of the few that can not only boast this, but they have the published success in both worlds to show for it.</div>

There’s always that one dress that’s hidden in the back of your closet. It’s not your everyday dress, and it’s definitely not formalwear. And while it may be all the way in the back, you never forget about “that dress.” You only pull it out for those special times. Because, in the words of Beyonce, it’s your “freakum dress.” And while you may have your favorite designers for certain looks, there’s only one who can bring out the perfect mix of maximum sex appeal with just the right amount of class. You know the name. You know the brand. And you know the feeling that wearing that dress gives you. You feel every bit of the word “sexy.” And you have none other than Eboni Khan to thank for bringing out the Hucci in you.<br />

This month we introduce the Couture AVENUE Look Winners and new Faces of Couture AVENUE as well as unveil the new cover design and magazine look. These small changes we hope pass on a more enjoyable experience to our readers. <br /><br />AVENUE wishes you all a very happy holiday season full of shopping and great cheer.<br /><br />"Couture AVENUE Look"<br />Cover Story | Page 34<br />Written by Xandrah Sciavo<br />Photography by Annough Lykin<br /><br />The AVENUE runway came to life with plenty of fierce competition during the last year as contestants from all over the grid competed for the opportunity to become the face of Couture AVENUE by entering the Couture AVENUE Look 2011 Contest. If that is true then for this girl, clothes and shoes are a close second. I have to admit that I have not always been a shoe girl in real life or in my Second Life®, but they are inching their way into my heart, heel by heel. For that I am thankful because there are some amazingly gorgeous shoes out there, and when I put them on my feet, I feel sexy from head to toe. It graced the Fall runways of Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Lanvin, Burberry and many more. Designers in Second Life® have added this deliciously edible hue to their own collections. For the first couple of years, I made friends, went to clubs, and explored sims; however, my favorite part of Second Life was seeing what kind of clothes I could find, actually put on together, and what combinations of looks I was able to create using items from various designers. After all, at that time, there was not an infinite number of attachment options, tattoo layers, alpha layers, and let's be honest, not a whole lot of men's clothes to choose from that had any quality to them at all. This love of fashion led me, after much deliberation, to join the modeling world of Second Life.<br /><br /><br /><div><object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" style="width:550px;height:275px" id="9bab91dd-1bb1-b9c1-0be5-5ccbf7aa6a3f"><param name="movie" value="http://static.issuu.com/webembed/viewers/style1/v2/IssuuReader.swf?mode=mini&pageNumber=118&printButtonEnabled=false&backgroundColor=%23222222&documentId=111018020808-225b889f95cb441589ffba80129a082c"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"><param name="menu" value="false"><param name="wmode" value="transparent"><embed src="http://static.issuu.com/webembed/viewers/style1/v2/IssuuReader.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" menu="false" wmode="transparent" style="width:550px;height:275px" flashvars="mode=mini&pageNumber=118&printButtonEnabled=false&backgroundColor=%23222222&documentId=111018020808-225b889f95cb441589ffba80129a082c"></embed></object></div><br /><br /><br />Read these articles and more in the <a href="http://issuu.com/avenue/docs/avenue.october2011/1">October edition of AVENUE Magazine</a>.<br /><br /><div><object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" style="width:550px;height:275px" id="77a5a8d4-1f57-cd49-fd1b-f6b568499016"><param name="movie" value="http://static.issuu.com/webembed/viewers/style1/v2/IssuuReader.swf?mode=mini&autoFlip=true&printButtonEnabled=false&backgroundColor=%23222222&documentId=111018020808-225b889f95cb441589ffba80129a082c"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"><param name="menu" value="false"><param name="wmode" value="transparent"><embed src="http://static.issuu.com/webembed/viewers/style1/v2/IssuuReader.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" menu="false" wmode="transparent" style="width:550px;height:275px" flashvars="mode=mini&autoFlip=true&printButtonEnabled=false&backgroundColor=%23222222&documentId=111018020808-225b889f95cb441589ffba80129a082c"></embed></object></div><br /><br />For regular in-world updates, please join <a href="http://world.secondlife.com/group/c3e0ee4b-7058-3c9b-bb98-f0f2043d71fe">AVENUE Magazine Readers group</a>.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://avenuemagazine.blogspot.com/" title="AVENUE Magazine"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2454/4111409570_93ca72f9a5.jpg" alt="AVENUE Magazine" height="53" width="500" /></a>

Known for her unique and cutting edge designs Faint continues to mesmerize the fashion world with each season's release. <br /><br />AVENUE brings you the Paulse of Fashion in it's October Issue.<br /><br /><br />"The Paulse of Fashion"<br />Cover Story | Page 34<br />Written by Augusta Carver & Photography by Blackliquid Tokyoska<br /><br />As a designer, Faint Paulse is known for her creative prowess and creating exceptional and sometimes even unconventional designs. She challenges the notions of what is beautiful and chic. When you hear the name Ladies Who Lunch, the first things that should come to mind are carefully detailed and realistic textures, bold colors, wickedly sinful shoes, and, of course, high quality styles. Paulse is a talented designer who could just as easily be creating art as fashion. When asked about her inspirations for designing in SL, Paulse simply replies: “Anything and everything. It depends. In the beginning, I did a lot of custom work, so I was just making things to fill orders. It began monopolizing my time, and I wanted to do more of what I wanted to do, so I slowly got away from it. Now, I flip through fashion magazines when I'm in line at the supermarket or online. Sometimes it's a photo, sometimes it's a shape or a concept. It doesn't matter.”<br /><br /><div><object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" style="width:550px;height:275px" id="9bab91dd-1bb1-b9c1-0be5-5ccbf7aa6a3f"><param name="movie" value="http://static.issuu.com/webembed/viewers/style1/v2/IssuuReader.swf?mode=mini&pageNumber=34&printButtonEnabled=false&backgroundColor=%23222222&documentId=111018020808-225b889f95cb441589ffba80129a082c"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"><param name="menu" value="false"><param name="wmode" value="transparent"><embed src="http://static.issuu.com/webembed/viewers/style1/v2/IssuuReader.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" menu="false" wmode="transparent" style="width:550px;height:275px" flashvars="mode=mini&pageNumber=34&printButtonEnabled=false&backgroundColor=%23222222&documentId=111018020808-225b889f95cb441589ffba80129a082c"></embed></object></div><br /><br />"R.icielli"<br />Fashion Icon | Page 46<br />Written by ShaiLi Alex & Photography by Kallisto Destiny<br /><br />R.icielli is one of the most famous stores in Second Life® and it is present in many projects and events related to virtual fashion, mainly because their products are so versatile and varied enough to please even the most diverse types of taste. There are customers of all types, from the most fashionable fashionistas who like to produce photographic essays, to the most basic consumers that are buying just for daily use. “That makes us very happy, because it shows how much people love and approve of our work,” says Fhara Ricielli, owner and designer of R.icielli. “To be honest, we did not have a target audience exactly. What we wanted was to get the majority of residents to know and love our store...and we did.”<br /><br /><div><object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" style="width:550px;height:275px" id="9bab91dd-1bb1-b9c1-0be5-5ccbf7aa6a3f"><param name="movie" value="http://static.issuu.com/webembed/viewers/style1/v2/IssuuReader.swf?mode=mini&pageNumber=46&printButtonEnabled=false&backgroundColor=%23222222&documentId=111018020808-225b889f95cb441589ffba80129a082c"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"><param name="menu" value="false"><param name="wmode" value="transparent"><embed src="http://static.issuu.com/webembed/viewers/style1/v2/IssuuReader.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" menu="false" wmode="transparent" style="width:550px;height:275px" flashvars="mode=mini&pageNumber=46&printButtonEnabled=false&backgroundColor=%23222222&documentId=111018020808-225b889f95cb441589ffba80129a082c"></embed></object></div><br /><br /><br />"Erebus"<br />Homme | Page 62<br />Styled, Modeled & Photographed by Brie Wonder<br /><br /><div><object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" style="width:550px;height:275px" id="9bab91dd-1bb1-b9c1-0be5-5ccbf7aa6a3f"><param name="movie" value="http://static.issuu.com/webembed/viewers/style1/v2/IssuuReader.swf?mode=mini&pageNumber=62&printButtonEnabled=false&backgroundColor=%23222222&documentId=111018020808-225b889f95cb441589ffba80129a082c"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"><param name="menu" value="false"><param name="wmode" value="transparent"><embed src="http://static.issuu.com/webembed/viewers/style1/v2/IssuuReader.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" menu="false" wmode="transparent" style="width:550px;height:275px" flashvars="mode=mini&pageNumber=62&printButtonEnabled=false&backgroundColor=%23222222&documentId=111018020808-225b889f95cb441589ffba80129a082c"></embed></object></div><br /><br /><br />"Fall Into Sartoria"<br />Trendspotting | Page 106<br />Styled, Modeled & Photographed by Lulu Jameson<br /><br /><div><object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" style="width:550px;height:275px" id="9bab91dd-1bb1-b9c1-0be5-5ccbf7aa6a3f"><param name="movie" value="http://static.issuu.com/webembed/viewers/style1/v2/IssuuReader.swf?mode=mini&pageNumber=106&printButtonEnabled=false&backgroundColor=%23222222&documentId=111018020808-225b889f95cb441589ffba80129a082c"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"><param name="menu" value="false"><param name="wmode" value="transparent"><embed src="http://static.issuu.com/webembed/viewers/style1/v2/IssuuReader.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" menu="false" wmode="transparent" style="width:550px;height:275px" flashvars="mode=mini&pageNumber=106&printButtonEnabled=false&backgroundColor=%23222222&documentId=111018020808-225b889f95cb441589ffba80129a082c"></embed></object></div><br /><br /><br />Read these articles and more in the <a href="http://issuu.com/avenue/docs/avenue.october2011/1">October edition of AVENUE Magazine</a>.<br /><br /><br /><br />For regular in-world updates, please join <a href="http://world.secondlife.com/group/c3e0ee4b-7058-3c9b-bb98-f0f2043d71fe">AVENUE Magazine Readers group</a>.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://avenuemagazine.blogspot.com/" title="AVENUE Magazine"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2454/4111409570_93ca72f9a5.jpg" alt="AVENUE Magazine" height="53" width="500" /></a>
